Walnut Grove Story
Walnut Grove: A great place to be a kid, raise a dog, and live your life.
This is the kind of neighbourhood people either stay in, move back to, or wish they could. Take Dylan and Ashley, for example. They grew up in Walnut Grove. Then, thirsty for a taste of big city living, they both moved to Vancouver after graduation. Now they’re ecstatic that they can afford to buy a new home in their hometown, and they can’t wait to move back. It’s a great place to raise a dog (and eventually a kid or two), and they’re quickly discovering that it’s also a pretty cool place to be twenty-something…and homeowners!
Walnut Grove is one of those perfectly scaled places: small, without being claustrophobic. Quiet, but unforgettable. Fresh out of a storybook, yet with the authenticity of an established community that has evolved naturally. You’ll find almost everything your family needs within Walnut Grove itself (excellent schools, shops, and a fabulous community centre with a gorgeous pool and gym), but anything else you might want is mere minutes away in Langley. It’s just down the road from historic Fort Langley’s upscale boutiques, a quick and easy commute to Vancouver’s urban centre, and a smooth trip back home again. Public transit makes getting around a breeze.
The people who already live here say it’s one of the best places anywhere. The people who are just visiting tend to look around with that familiar question in their eyes: how can we get some of this?
