Sara Wood (out of frame) and her children - residents of Bedford Landing, came down to Time to watch the Torch relay!
Community spirit is such a cool thing to witness. We were out in Walnut Grove this morning at 7:3o am blowing up balloons to hand out to excited crowds – and we weren’t even the first ones there! Hundreds came out to celebrate the passing of the Olympic Torch through Walnut Grove.

The Torchbearer was the the well-deserved winner of an essay contest at a local high school. Kudos to him! He made running, smiling, waving, and carrying a 3.5 lb torch for over a kilometre look easy.
Hundreds of people lined the streets and sidewalks, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the torch. Many groups of school children lined up 2-by-2 and made their way down to the intersection of 204th and 96th Ave. It was such an awesome day to be Canadian – we were so proud!

Time's site labourers had the best seat in the house!

Those are the two cutest girls I have ever seen!!
