The “Best Of” list is our favourite list to make at this time of year.  The Christmas Shopping list gets longer and more expensive by the year, while the New Year Resolutions list gets longer from all the incomplete goals that are carried over.  It can make any person dread the end of another year – let alone another decade.

It can feel overwhelming to keep track of all of the cool new websites we haven’t check out yet. Thanks to About.com for whittling the list down for us.

Best Book

The Globe And Mail put together their list of the best books. We appreciated the various categories that let us hone in our favourite genres first.  Check it out here.

Best Fashion

InStyle magazine has graced us with their top 100 dresses of the decade in this list. The winner?  Jennifer Lopez in Versace. Your jaw will drop when you see these frocks.  A girl can dream, can’t she?

Best Tech Gadgets

Paste Magazine* guided us through their Top 15 Gadgets of the Decade. Can you guess what was #1?  Hint: It rhymes with “schmy-pod”.  * Paste Magazine is based in the USA… We had never heard of it either. Thanks Google!

Best Kids Stuff

While trolling for techy gadgets, we found that Wired Magazine had asked kids and their parents what they thought should make the list. Click here to see what the little ones like.
